Class on Photography

Me and Emily decided we wanted learn more about photography. So we took a photography class through Thanksgiving. Here is the Result, sorry they are backward, I totally forgot that it goes backward.

Day Three: We were late for the class so we decided to go take pictures in the children garden, which I would recommend to any mother who has a child. It is very short and very fun. And as we will see has Noah's Ark and the water to play in.
Mmm can we say sun!
Here is Noah's Ark and as you can see the kids playing in it love it.
So I saw this path way in the bushes and I told Emily we should go in it. Ah turns out it was a maze, which I said when we went in the park would be the worst thing ever to get stuck in, but I think most gardens should have. We got out eventually.
The fruit is coming!!!!
We learned about the lighting. The most attractive lighting, which I tried on this, but It was in the middle of the day. Usually the back lighting is during the early morning or the night when the sun is just about the set.
The pond.
Pink Lotus flowers
Looking across pond.
The prettiest darn lotus flower I have ever seen.
Ladder leading to no where
Day Two: This is the second day after class, learning about depth of field, reflectors and etc.
The last of the tulips.
Ah they have gotten so big, and I dont know where the other two went, but look how big they have gotten.
This was taken during the tulip festival two weeks before.
Add some of this wonderful stuff, IN THE MIDDLE OF FREAKING APRIL!!!!
And you get this, luscious garden walk.
The carousel horses had pansy packs.

Choppy falls or
Wispy
I thought this looked really interesting. The teacher was also a Horticulture teacher and he was saying that this black stuff wasn't killing the tree, its actually good for it I think I remember him say. Oh well it made for a cool picture, don't you think?
We learned about Depth of Field and using objects to help show how big things are. So I used tree, well he told us to use this tree to shoot through at the falls.
So we learned about reflectors and how they work. This picture had a silver reflector on it, we tried a gold one but the sun wasn't out so you really couldn't tell but this one you can tell I think.
Under normal lighting. Can you tell now?
I know pansies get hold after so much, I guess I haven't seem them in a while and I really like the colors on these ones.
The amazing African Daisy, I had tons of these in my garden last year.
First Day. The tulips are more then died, in fact they were pulling out the bulbs and all of them.
He thought us that most cameras can't pick out the darkest of blues or the brightest of whites. They just can't seem to do that in most pictures, especially taking them just right after each other. So he made us attempt. This is my attempt of the dark purple.
The last of the tulips at the tulip festival.
White tulips that are just almost past their prime. This was my bright white, what I was talking about before.

Photoshoots Again.

Here is the photo shoot my awesome Lisa did for me. We have always said we would do this one day, we tried when were like 12 and 13, lets just say that didn't work out the best. So here is my part. Her's will be up when she comes and sees me again. Yep that's right Lisa you heard me.

The first shot of the day.
If my legs aren't long enough for you. Well here they are looking a couple feet longer. If any body needs a couple of inches I do lend mine out on the weekends.
Taylor Swift has nothing on me.
On the night of her 16th birthday, she will be pricked by a sewing needle. Only true loves kiss will wake her.
I guess I really like this prickly weed.
I like this one. Alot.
Dazing.
Sitting here waiting for my carriage to arrive.
Shoes.
I finally found out where my butt went. Just kidding, never had one, this only makes me look like I do.
Hanging out on the bars. Not the best picture for me but hey I am not running for anything and Lisa told me to put her abilities up on my blog.
There was a hole in the platform and I did not any funky wild animal jumping out at me. I was being very careful in this picture.
Ha Ha can we say I love love love this picture. While me and Lisa were uploading these, I said eww that is a totally bad picture. She loved it, she said it looks like you have a said story behind it. Then we decided this should be an add for a teen drug addiction line. Hi, My name is Melanie and I was a teen addict. As you can tell I can't tell things seriously. It does look like a have a story to tell and it might be interesting. So sit down, kick off your shoes and get something to drink.
Look at what this piece of gold metal does for my hair. It totally brings out the auburn, this is how red it was when I was little. It has gotten darker, back to the family roots I guess.
Vainty is everything. Ha not. That's what this reminds me of. Mirror Mirror on the wall.
I really like this piece of metal
This was on accident to, it was so freaking windy. But Mary Poppins here I come.

This fan was fun.
This picture was a total accident, I think it is my favorite out of all. I said to my sister, Watch this I can be Asian and Spanish at the same time. You can tell I wasn't ready by the stoney look in my eyes.
Bring it world. Melanie can take you!!
I love this picture. I know I can't do a serious face. But to me this is what this picture says. " Now brethren we have come today to council. Listen to Me!" Can you see it?
I have always wanted a picture doing this. I think everyone should have one.
Yeah lets see what that does for my allergies. HA can anyone say epipen!!
Dainty
I am looking for you. In this pile of highly allergic allergens.
