Forgive Me!!!!

Wow its been forever, school and work consume my life and when I am not doing that I am either at church or taking naps to try to catch up on the lack of. For example this past Saturday, I have a 8am Saturday class, I know shot me ( won't ever do that again!!) and after that I went straight to work to do a H1N1 vaccine flu clinic until 4. That's 4 hours of kids who hate you the instant you say their name, no matter what you say. Its kicking or screaming and kicking and oh yes biting, had an 11 yr old boy try to do that 3 days ago. I came home and crashed for a 5 hour nap. I know my life is not that hard but hey I just had to whine for a bit..... OK I am finished with the pity party. Back to reality. A lot has happened. So lets just start at the beginning. That's usually the best place to start, don't you think. More will come though
So we went to go see my Grandma Tubb who I haven't seen in like 12 yrs. This is grandma though, this is Uncle Brent, pretty much the funniest guy I know.
Just chilling at Grams house.
I love/hate my smile in this picture
And people wonder were I get my weirdness from.
Grandma and the Girls
Me and Grams. Her only redhead Grandchild. Don't tell the other cousins or my siblings know this, but I thats why I am her favorite. She always says how her mom looks down from heaven and loves that she has a grand baby that is a red head. But then she says that redhead are special, besides their tempers :)
The parentals and Grams
Son and Mother
So I was eating my Mickey Mouse Pancake and looked over to this thing on the wall. To sum it up this is my favorite scripture, it made my day. My grandma is Catholic if y'all didn't know that.
Short grandma and everyone else.
K this is in someone's backyard, ridiculous right. There is an island back there that has a tree in it. If that was my backyard I would row to that island and read all day long on it and maybe have a picnic.
Scariest ice cream man/truck ever. I was walking around the neighbor hood well me and Lisa and we kept hearing children singing. I thought it was like a baptist church practice singing. So we are walking and this thing come downs the street with thee most scariest old scruffy man, and his DOG. Talk about gag with a dog hair in your fudgsicle.
Look at this guy, me and Lisa chased him yep that is what we do, alot when we were little too.
Grandma's rosaries
The cutest picture of Grams and Gramps, I love it.
Their wedding day
Grandpa. I think he was a very handsome young man, don't you think.
Uncle Lenny in the paraolympics
Can you find my dad?
The Tubb brothers
Yep that's Gram's car, and no joke she really believes in gnomes.
No just some pictures I took to remember grandmas house.

Can you find bambi in this picture?
Nick wanted a picture of this bridge, the coolest bridge, and the mountains in the background, I love it!
The Sunset was so pretty, but it was so windy.
I really love this picture, i don't know maybe its the way they are looking at each other.
Just in someone's driveway
I love this picture too
Probably my favorite well like top 2.

The at&t commercial.

Courage can make my day any day!! Love this kid.
My new shades? You Like? It was soo cold outside.

Class on Photography

Me and Emily decided we wanted learn more about photography. So we took a photography class through Thanksgiving. Here is the Result, sorry they are backward, I totally forgot that it goes backward.

Day Three: We were late for the class so we decided to go take pictures in the children garden, which I would recommend to any mother who has a child. It is very short and very fun. And as we will see has Noah's Ark and the water to play in.
Mmm can we say sun!
Here is Noah's Ark and as you can see the kids playing in it love it.
So I saw this path way in the bushes and I told Emily we should go in it. Ah turns out it was a maze, which I said when we went in the park would be the worst thing ever to get stuck in, but I think most gardens should have. We got out eventually.
The fruit is coming!!!!
We learned about the lighting. The most attractive lighting, which I tried on this, but It was in the middle of the day. Usually the back lighting is during the early morning or the night when the sun is just about the set.
The pond.
Pink Lotus flowers
Looking across pond.
The prettiest darn lotus flower I have ever seen.
Ladder leading to no where
Day Two: This is the second day after class, learning about depth of field, reflectors and etc.
The last of the tulips.
Ah they have gotten so big, and I dont know where the other two went, but look how big they have gotten.
This was taken during the tulip festival two weeks before.
Add some of this wonderful stuff, IN THE MIDDLE OF FREAKING APRIL!!!!
And you get this, luscious garden walk.
The carousel horses had pansy packs.

Choppy falls or
Wispy
I thought this looked really interesting. The teacher was also a Horticulture teacher and he was saying that this black stuff wasn't killing the tree, its actually good for it I think I remember him say. Oh well it made for a cool picture, don't you think?
We learned about Depth of Field and using objects to help show how big things are. So I used tree, well he told us to use this tree to shoot through at the falls.
So we learned about reflectors and how they work. This picture had a silver reflector on it, we tried a gold one but the sun wasn't out so you really couldn't tell but this one you can tell I think.
Under normal lighting. Can you tell now?
I know pansies get hold after so much, I guess I haven't seem them in a while and I really like the colors on these ones.
The amazing African Daisy, I had tons of these in my garden last year.
First Day. The tulips are more then died, in fact they were pulling out the bulbs and all of them.
He thought us that most cameras can't pick out the darkest of blues or the brightest of whites. They just can't seem to do that in most pictures, especially taking them just right after each other. So he made us attempt. This is my attempt of the dark purple.
The last of the tulips at the tulip festival.
White tulips that are just almost past their prime. This was my bright white, what I was talking about before.

Photoshoots Again.

Here is the photo shoot my awesome Lisa did for me. We have always said we would do this one day, we tried when were like 12 and 13, lets just say that didn't work out the best. So here is my part. Her's will be up when she comes and sees me again. Yep that's right Lisa you heard me.

The first shot of the day.
If my legs aren't long enough for you. Well here they are looking a couple feet longer. If any body needs a couple of inches I do lend mine out on the weekends.
Taylor Swift has nothing on me.
On the night of her 16th birthday, she will be pricked by a sewing needle. Only true loves kiss will wake her.
I guess I really like this prickly weed.
I like this one. Alot.
Dazing.
Sitting here waiting for my carriage to arrive.
Shoes.
I finally found out where my butt went. Just kidding, never had one, this only makes me look like I do.
Hanging out on the bars. Not the best picture for me but hey I am not running for anything and Lisa told me to put her abilities up on my blog.
There was a hole in the platform and I did not any funky wild animal jumping out at me. I was being very careful in this picture.
Ha Ha can we say I love love love this picture. While me and Lisa were uploading these, I said eww that is a totally bad picture. She loved it, she said it looks like you have a said story behind it. Then we decided this should be an add for a teen drug addiction line. Hi, My name is Melanie and I was a teen addict. As you can tell I can't tell things seriously. It does look like a have a story to tell and it might be interesting. So sit down, kick off your shoes and get something to drink.
Look at what this piece of gold metal does for my hair. It totally brings out the auburn, this is how red it was when I was little. It has gotten darker, back to the family roots I guess.
Vainty is everything. Ha not. That's what this reminds me of. Mirror Mirror on the wall.
I really like this piece of metal
This was on accident to, it was so freaking windy. But Mary Poppins here I come.

This fan was fun.
This picture was a total accident, I think it is my favorite out of all. I said to my sister, Watch this I can be Asian and Spanish at the same time. You can tell I wasn't ready by the stoney look in my eyes.
Bring it world. Melanie can take you!!
I love this picture. I know I can't do a serious face. But to me this is what this picture says. " Now brethren we have come today to council. Listen to Me!" Can you see it?
I have always wanted a picture doing this. I think everyone should have one.
Yeah lets see what that does for my allergies. HA can anyone say epipen!!
Dainty
I am looking for you. In this pile of highly allergic allergens.

Tulip Festival. Yes another Festival.

As so begins the next festival of things I go to. I love them you could say. This is the tulip festival at Thanksgiving point in Lehi. Last year when we went nothing was out. Like I mean nothing. This year was way better. Well here are some pictures that I took. I hope you enjoy.
Alone.
Here comes the colors.
A little different.
I love the sun, well in pictures.
I have a new addiction of taken pictures in the funkiest ways.
Different view
Doesn't this make you want to go to sleep in the sun.
Lakeside view
Oh no, here come the Koi fish pictures. If you know me you know I am obessed with taking pictures of these things.
There were so many, don't you just love the way they look.
They got a little mean after we feed them.
I love koi fish.
So I know this picture is not the best, but I cropped it from a picture. Doesn't it just say to you, ok family lets go, form a line.
Spring is here in this picture, for sure.
Closeness.

Church today is one my mind. As soon as I say these trees I thought of the first vision, and thought of Christ and The Father. I know I get a little weird at times, but bear with me.
I love this picture a lot. I love spring lets say.
I love this door, I think it kind of reminds me of the picture of Christ knocking at the door with no door knob. It's just so inviting. Come into my secret garden. Like the movie almost. I wish have a secret garden someday.
This fountain I couldn't decide if I wanted the effect to look smooth or chop. You choose this one,
Or this one.
The first flowers to spring in the bloom. Hope.
I can't say how much I love this picture, I am weird I know but it is so freaking awesome. I tricked some people with it. Look closely!
I took this picture thinking it would show the passing of the winter with the dead leaf and the bring of spring with the bright colors behind it.
I so so wish I could still do this, well I could I guess but with out getting very sick and being able to stand up afterward and still be excited to do some more.
Some pretty pink flowers.
This kinda makes me fell like a soft spring day in the breeze. Its soft I should say.
Downward fall to the bottom.
I don't know why I did this one really. I wanted something different. I really like it though. It kind of reminds me of a painting where the painter just kind of got some paints and dabbed them on there. I actually really like it.
Can we say New Moon front cover. Just Kidding, I didn't really think about that until after my sister mentioned that, I was more concentrated on the lone red tulip. I guess I thought we connected in a special way, red and all.

Hare Krishna Festival of Colors

I know I am on a roll. But lets get start to the point. So I went to the Festival of Colors or Hare Krishna Holi Festival of Colors. It is a Hindu celebration, you can see the temple it looks like the one in Aladdin, anyway it is the celebration of spring pretty much ending with a burning and a huge chalk fight with over 3000 people. The chalk is different colors and it is suppose to represent the colors of Spring exploding. So let me take you through lots of picture and you can see how dirty I got. And by the way my hair is still green, well you can see it only in my blonde streaks.
Me and "J" waiting for the show to start. There was like no one there yet. As we go through it you will see how many people get there. Its ridiculous.
Me and "V" she is a good chair to lean against. Just kidding.
The lady is gonna burn, i don't know all why she is, you can look up on their website and see just type in Krishna temple for utah in google and see, but I take it as her being burned represents winter and our fight of colors represents the coming of spring and all its colors.
Me trying to blow a bubble. I look like I have lots of freckles in this but i really don't.
She is burning. They actually started burning her before the eclessatical leader said to and he kinda got mad.
Me and "J" again. Love her! So glad she came.
I actually didn't take this picture, a friend of mine did. He was on the temple steps I think. But isn't that the coolest thing. I think this is when we weren't suppose to start and got introuble. But I was right in the part were they are throwing it.
The are as it begins. I think I might get the purple lung from it.
It was so nasty breathing it in.
Me in the middle of it. Pretty sure I got it thrown in my eye twice and I killed so yeah that is why I am closing my eyes in this picture.
Not quite sure what I am doing in this one. Just thought it looked funny, so I put it up.
Trying to be Hindu, Not working so well.
Then my friend "C' wanted to do it to so we tried to make it look cool. Ha we tried!
"K" and "V" were taking a picture and right as they were taking it this guy came up and throw the purple in their face. This is the result.
It got a little crazier down their by the band.
Funny faces and paint are the best.
Looking fabulous as always.
The whole group. You can't see me and "C" in this really well, cuz he was leaning on me like full on lean and right as we took this I stepped out from under his weight and he fell and rolled down the hill. It was so funny.
After math, and the crowd of people.
The people on the temple after 20 mins of throwing chalk.
Leaving was a joke, but it was fun. Hope the pictures get the feel for it. Tell me what you think.

Slacker

So I know I know I am a slacker and don't update a lot. But school is kicking my butt right now so I am noting updating as much as I want but here is some. So this is my other lovely brown friend. So jealous. So is "V" cousin so she say V's pictures and want some so we went adventuring. I love them some are a little different so bare with me. Another fun thing to look forward to is when it gets warmer, I want to go do some on the salt flats but we will see. So here we go.
She dressed up like this and I instantly thought farm, so we went down by the lake.
This one I like, I don't know why, maybe the seventies look to the picture.
Tell me what you think, I can't decided between these two pictures on which one I like more.
Ha she was really little she barely could fit across the tires, it was funny.
This one I know, I'm weird but I thought it looked cool.
Had to get a girly picture by the big boy truck!
A little softer for ya.
Really she is so stinking pretty, I'm so jealous.
So this one is out of focus, but "V" is so pretty she can shine through my flaws. I like it though.
Stunning once again.
A little different look.
She is little but she got power.
New Yorkers! Think they own the place!
Cousins!!!

First Photoshoot

So yesterday was my beautiful friends birthday. So I said what better thing to do on your birthday than to get your picture taken. So we went on an adventure in Utah county taking pictures. Here are some of the few that we took. Tell me what you think.
It was raining so some of the pictures might have rain drops. Love this one so cute!!
A tree where we took some of them. I have always seen this tree driving by and I always have wanted to take a picture of it or by it. Its so dramatic I love it.
Funny story we also went to an antique mall and i saw this hat, had to try it. Isn't it so cute. Well I bought it so ha ha oh well. What do you think.
Outhouse/Pipecover
K totally took these in Provo. Totally saw it and pulled over. Looks like the slums of New York uh. Well my friend just mad it even more awesome. I'm so jealous.
Dramatic!
I can't tell if she looks cross eyed in this picture but she's not. The stupid blog made it look like that.
Why can't I be pretty, and have brown skin!!
And have awesome boots.
She is really to pretty!!
She is totally standing on a stump right here.
I think this is my favorite. The funny thing is she is not trying to look like fierce, the sun had come up, but it made for an awesome effect. My favorite, i think.
Arg really why is so dang pretty.
Ha this was so much fun and i hope she had fun too. Happy Birthday.
